In this section, I present the 3D visualization work created for an industrial complex in Santo Domingo. The main focus was on translating the technical design into a high-fidelity visual model, paying particular attention to ambient lighting and material rendering.

Through the rendering, I have made the building’s volumes and connections visible, providing a clear tool for presenting and assessing the structure’s aesthetic impact within its actual setting.

This project marks the first large-scale visualization project that I have managed entirely on my own. The complexity of the model required particular attention to file management and hardware resources, given the project’s considerable scale.

Using a problem-solving approach, I addressed and resolved the technical challenges associated with managing large volumes and complex details, ensuring optimal photorealistic rendering and accurate proportions at every stage of the modeling process.

The industrial scale of the project required a rigorous workflow organization. To handle the large number of polygons and the complexity of the metal structures, it was necessary to optimize the model’s geometry without compromising its technical accuracy.

This process required constant monitoring of:

Asset optimization: to keep the file lightweight and manageable throughout the entire workflow.

Lighting design: essential for creating depth in spaces of this size.

Material accuracy: to accurately distinguish between different industrial surfaces and the reflections from machinery.

Overcoming these technical challenges has allowed me to become more proficient in handling large and complex files—skills that I now apply on a daily basis to ensure fast turnaround times, even on large-scale projects.
